Educational Neuroscience

The Educational Neuroscience emphasis focuses on the application of basic neuroscience to educational contexts. This new interdisciplinary path within neuroscience brings together psychological investigations (within a broad framework including developmental, cognitive, affective, and social processes) and neuroscience research spanning multiple levels (genetics to systems) to better understand core educational areas such as reading, math, psycho/social development, and STEM learning.
